Another interesting game for Jopisa Burgos (2-1) which played in Las Palmas against 3rd placed Gran Canaria (1-2). Fourth ranked Jopisa Burgos had an easy win 78-59. Gran Canaria's coach Domingo Diaz rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Jopisa Burgos moved-up to third place. Gran Canaria at the other side dropped to the seventh position with two games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Jopisa Burgos will play against bottom-ranked Socinsa Bembibre (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Gran Canaria will play against Conquero (#8) in Huelva and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
