There was a minor upset when higher ranked Studenac Omis (1-2) were defeated at home by twelfth ranked Rockwool Pula (1-2) 85-78 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 11-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 85-78. Rockwool Pula outrebounded Studenac Omis 42-26 including a 32-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was forward Tea Dikic (176-85) who scored 16 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Ivana Dukic (172-92) chipped in 20 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Marta Perlic (178-82) who recorded 22 points and 5 rebounds and the former international forward Antonela Anic (177-85) added 12 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 8 steals respectively. Five Rockwool Pula and four Studenac Omis players scored in double figures. Rockwool Pula left bottom position moving up to seventh place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Studenac Omis. Rockwool Pula will meet at home higher ranked KK Zadar (#5) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Studenac Omis will play against Pleter in Pleternica.
