The game between closely ranked teams ended with sixth ranked Mitsubishi Dolphins' (3-5) home victory over 7th ranked Hokkaido L. (1-7) in Nagoya 80-60 on Sunday. The game without a history. Mitsubishi Dolphins led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a very good performance for American forward Ron Hale (203-77, college: Florida St.) who helped to win the game recording 29 points and 6 rebounds. Bahamas power forward Magnum Rolle (211-86, college: Louisiana Tech) contributed with 9 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. German power forward Tilo Klette (206-77) replied with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and the former international guard Takehiko Orimo (190-70) added 12 points in the effort for Hokkaido L.Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Mitsubishi Dolphins maintains sixth position with 3-5 record. Loser Hokkaido L. keeps the seventh place with seven games lost. Mitsubishi Dolphins will face league's second-placed Panasonic Trians in Osaka in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
