The game had a very big importance for eleventh-ranked Prima Veroli as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Prima Veroli defeated bottom-ranked Upea CdO in Capo d'Orlando 65-61. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Upea CdO won third quarter 20-9. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Prima Veroli won last quarter 17-14. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Jimmy Hunter (197-77, college: Life, agency: Two Points) who helped to win the game recording 19 points. Newly promoted Upea CdO still keeps top with four games lost. Upea CdO will play next round against Tezenis VE trying to get back on the winning streak.
