An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Findon. Top-ranked Wollongong Hawks faced 4th ranked Adelaide 36ers. Guests from Gwynneville (4-0) defeated host Adelaide 36ers (2-2) 77-63. It looked good early as Adelaide 36ers took an 9-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Wollongong Hawks took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 14 points. Worth to mention a great performance of Dominican guard Adris Deleon (180-84, college: E.Washington) who helped to win the game recording 23 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. American guard Lance Hurdle (188-87, college: Miami, FL) contributed with 16 points for the winners. The former international power forward Anthony Petrie (203-83) replied with 16 points and 5 rebounds and international point guard Adam Gibson (188-86) added 9 points and 7 assists in the effort for Adelaide 36ers. Wollongong Hawks have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 4-0 record. Adelaide 36ers at the other side dropped to the fifth place with two games lost. Wollongong Hawks will play against league's second-placed Perth Wildcats at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Adelaide 36ers will play against Kings in Sydney and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
