An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Findon. Top-ranked Wollongong Hawks faced 4th ranked Adelaide 36ers. Guests from Gwynneville (4-0) defeated host Adelaide 36ers (2-2) 77-63. It looked good early as Adelaide 36ers took an 9-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Wollongong Hawks took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 14 points. Worth to mention a great performance of Dominican guard Adris Deleon (180-84, college: E.Washington) who helped to win the game recording 23 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. American guard Lance Hurdle (188-87, college: Miami, FL) contributed with 16 points for the winners. The former international power forward Anthony Petrie (203-83) replied with 16 points and 5 rebounds and international point guard Adam Gibson (188-86) added 9 points and 7 assists in the effort for Adelaide 36ers. Wollongong Hawks have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 4-0 record. Adelaide 36ers at the other side dropped to the fifth place with two games lost. Wollongong Hawks will play against league's second-placed Perth Wildcats at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
