LFB top team - Lattes Montpellier (6-0) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they beat eighth ranked Charleville-Mezieres (2-4) 63-46. The game was mostly controlled by Lattes Montpellier. Charleville-Mezieres managed to win third quarter 17-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was guard Gaelle Skrela (178-83, agency: Josep and Nicolas) who scored 14 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. The former international forward Geraldine Robert (183-80) chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds. Five Lattes Montpellier players scored in double figures. Lattes Montpellier's coach Valery Demory used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Mali center Djene Diawara (192-85) who recorded 9 points and 7 rebounds and the former international power forward Aurelie Bonnan (187-83, agency: Josep and Nicolas) added 4 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Lattes Montpellier have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 6-0 record. Loser Charleville-Mezieres dropped to the ninth place with four games lost. They share the position with Aix-en-Provence and Arras. Lattes Montpellier will meet at home league's second-placed Nantes Reze in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Charleville-Mezieres will play against Union Hainaut (#13) in Saint-Amand and hope to secure a win.
