The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Umbertide as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Umbertide defeated bottom-ranked CA Romagna at home 68-51. The game without a history. Umbertide led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 20-of-25 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Umbertide forced 31 CA Romagna turnovers. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. CA Romagna was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Umbertide have a solid series of three victories in a row. As mentioned above they took over a top position. CA Romagna at the other side still closes the standings with three games lost. They share the position with Priolo. CA Romagna will play next round against Pall.Pozzuoli trying to get back on the winning streak. Umbertide will try to continue on its current victory against fifth ranked Orvieto on the road.
