Undefeated leader Fujitsu RW delivered the tenth consecutive victory. This time they beat 5th ranked Toyota A. (5-5) 64-52 in Nagoya. It looked good early as Toyota A. took an 12-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Fujitsu RW took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 12 points. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Toyota A. to just 5 points in second quarter. It was a good game for international forward Moeko Nagaoka (180-93) who led her team to a victory with 22 points and 6 rebounds. Swingman Misa Makoto (171-80) contributed with 17 points for the winners. International guard Maya Kawahara (167-87) replied with 20 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Mami Ikeda (178-81) added 8 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Toyota A.Fujitsu RW (10-0) have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 10 victories in a row, which they share with JX Sunflowers. Toyota A. at the other side keeps the fifth place with five games lost. They share the position with Toyota B SR. Fujitsu RW will play against Niigata (#8) in Tokyo in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Toyota A. will play at home against Aishin Wings in Anjo and hopes to get back on the winning track.
