The game in Taiyuan was also quite interesting. Top-ranked Zhejiang Far East (2-0) played at the court of bottom-ranked Shanxi (0-2). Zhejiang Far East defeated Shanxi 87-77 on Tuesday. The game was mostly controlled by Zhejiang Far East. Shanxi managed to win third quarter 22-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Zhejiang Far East made 30-of-34 free shots (88.2 percent) during the game, while Shanxi only scored ten points from the stripe. They outrebounded Shanxi 38-24 including a 29-11 advantage in defensive rebounds. Shanxi's coach Lucas Mondelo let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Zhejiang Far East keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 3 other teams. Newly promoted Shanxi still closes the standings with two games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams.
