The game in Hafnarfjordur supposed to be also quite interesting. Fourth ranked KR (4-2) played at the court of 7th ranked Haukar (1-5). KR smashed Haukar 75-50 on Wednesday. The game without a history. KR led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They held Haukar to an opponent 25.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 38.6 percent accuracy of the winners. KR forced 22 Haukar turnovers. The former international power forward Sigrun Amundadottir (181-88, agency: Promotex) notched 22 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and American guard Patechia Hartman (170-83, college: Georgia St., agency: Gamble Sports Management) supported her with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. Five KR players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 25 points and 17 rebounds by American swingman Siarre Evans (178-88, college: E.Tenn.St.) did not help to save the game for Haukar. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. KR have a solid three-game winning streak. KR will meet at home league's second-placed Snaefell in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
