Important game to mention about took place in Ferrara. Fourth ranked Lucca (5-2) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 10th ranked Naturhouse Ferrara (3-3) 75-73 on Thursday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Naturhouse Ferrara cut a 16-point halftime deficit to two at the end of the game. Lucca made 18-of-19 charity shots (94.7 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Walter Santarossa (200-78) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 7 rebounds. point guard Davide Parente (188-83) contributed with 18 points and 5 steals for the winners. Five Lucca players scored in double figures. Guard Gabriele Spizzichini (194-92) answered with 26 points and 7 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) and guard Michele Ferri (191-85) added 20 points in the effort for Naturhouse Ferrara. Lucca moved-up to third place, which they share with Torino and Bologna. Naturhouse Ferrara at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the ninth position with three games lost. They share it with Firenze and Casalpusterlengo. Lucca will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Naturhouse Ferrara will play on the road against the league's leader Treviglio (#1) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
