GECR Indalo managed to secure a 5-point victory 85-80 on Friday. Boca Juniors trailed by 11 points at halftime and as many as 15 after three quarters before a 30-20 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 80-85 at the end of the game. GECR Indalo made 19-of-21 free shots (90.5 percent) during the game. American power forward Kahiem Seawright (203-86, college: Rhode Island, agency: Edge Sports) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import guard David Jackson (196-82, college: Penn St.) chipped in 19 points and 4 assists. At the losing side American forward John DeGroat (198-85, college: Pittsburgh) responded with 21 points and 7 rebounds and American-Puerto Rican center Daniel Santiago (216-76, college: N.Mexico, agency: Priority Sports) scored 17 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Boca Juniors' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Despite that victory GECR Indalo went down to ninth position due to points difference. Loser Boca Juniors dropped to the twelfth place with eight games lost. GECR Indalo will meet at home Obras (#13) in the next round. Boca Juniors' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Buenos Aires to the arena Lanus.
