Korisliiga top team - Tampereen Pyrinto (8-1) had no problems winning another game on Friday. This time they crushed twelfth ranked UU-Korihait (1-8) 102-76. The hosts trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 10-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 102-76. Tampereen Pyrinto made 21-of-24 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 UU-Korihait turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by UU-Korihait's players. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Tampereen Pyrinto maintains first place with 8-1 record. UU-Korihait lost eighth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with eight games lost. Tampereen Pyrinto are looking forward to face Salon Vilpas (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
