Regular Season Round 8: Eco Orebro - Nassjo 84-82

Date: November 2, 2012
Bottom-ranked Nassjo (0-8) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 84-82 loss to eleventh ranked Eco Orebro (2-6) in Orebro. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Nassjo won third quarter 24-21. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Eco Orebro players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The winners were led by American forward Darris Santee (203-87, college: UNLV) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) and American-Bosnian point guard Terell Castle (182-72, college: Nicholls St., agency: Court Side) supported him with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Eco Orebro players scored in double figures. Even 23 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists by American forward William Walker (200-87, college: Bethel, IN, agency: Warren Sports International) did not help to save the game for Nassjo. Canadian guard Tut Ruach (188-85) added 20 points, 7 assists and 6 steals (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) for the guests. Eco Orebro maintains eleventh position with 2-6 record. Newly promoted Nassjo still closes the standings with eight games lost. Eco Orebro's next round opponent will be higher ranked 08 Stockholm (#7) on the road and it may be quite challenging game. Nassjo will play against White Eagles (#10) in Stockholm and hopes to get finally their first victory.
