Sixteenth-ranked USC Leipzig (1-6) made lots of trouble for third ranked NBC (5-2) in Nurnberg. NBC managed to secure only two-point victory 83-81. However their fans expected much easier game. NBC moved-up to second place, which they share with Duesseldorf and Goettingen. Newly promoted USC Leipzig stay at the bottom position with six games lost. NBC's next round opponent will be Ehingen/Urspringschule (#11) in Allmendingen and are hoping to win another game. USC Leipzig will play at home against BV Chemnitz 99 (#7).
