Rather expected game in Kotka where 8th ranked Namika Lahti (3-5) was crushed by fifth ranked KTP-Basket (6-3) 103-77 on Friday. The game without a history. KTP-Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Namika Lahti's 32. They outrebounded Namika Lahti 40-24 including 26 on the defensive glass. American forward Devonne Giles (203-83, college: Texas Tech) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and Canadian Sefton Barrett (196-83, college: Cent.Michigan, agency: Limelight Hoops) chipped in 22 points and 5 steals. KTP-Basket will face higher ranked Loimaan Korikonkarit (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
