Regular Season Round 4: Castello - Prat Juventud 64-80

Prat Juventud has registered their first victory this season after three consecutive loses. The win is especially important as it came on the road game in Castellon, where they defeated Castello (0-3) 80-64. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Prat Juventud's pressure prevailed and they won that period 20-11 extending their advantage to 16 points. It was a very good performance for guard Alex Ros (192-83) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Roger Vilanova (182-87, agency: Regeneracom Sports) contributed with 21 points and 4 assists for the winners. Four Prat Juventud players scored in double figures. Power forward Albert Ausina (203-81) replied with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds (made all of his eleven free throws !!!) and power forward David Ortega (199-84) added 9 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Castello. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Prat Juventud (1-3) left bottom position moving up to ninth place. It was Castello's third loss in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with three games lost. Prat Juventud's next round opponent will be higher ranked CB Guadalajara (#4) at home and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Castello will play against Palma (#8) in S'Arenal and hopes to get finally their first victory.
