Regular Season Round 4: Oviedo CB - Clinicas Rincon 74-59

Clinicas Rincon (#4) was upset in Oviedo by eighth ranked Oviedo CB 74-59. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Clinicas Rincon. The game was mostly controlled by Oviedo CB. Clinicas Rincon managed to win second period 17-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Oviedo CB forced 27 Clinicas Rincon turnovers. American-Irish swingman Will Hanley (200-90, college: Bowdoin, agency: Duran International) fired 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Canadian forward Willie Galick (203-87, college: CS Northridge) chipped in 13 points. Four Oviedo CB players scored in double figures. Bosnian-Serbian forward Dejan Todorovic (-94) produced 14 points and center Malick Fall (210-92) added 7 points and 11 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Oviedo CB (2-1) moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Guadalajara. Clinicas Rincon at the other side dropped to the sixth position with two games lost. They share it with Palma and Cafes Aitona. Oviedo CB will meet at home league's leader Lan Mobel ISB in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Clinicas Rincon will play against the league's second-placed Aurteneche M. (#2) in Vitoria-Gasteiz and hope to secure a win and be promoted back to the LEB Gold just one year after relegation.
