Regular Season Round 4: Tsmoki-Minsk - Victoria 88-66

Bottom-ranked Victoria-UOR is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their fifth consecutive match to fourth ranked Tsmoki-Minsk (2-1) 88-66. The game was mostly controlled by Tsmoki-Minsk. Victoria-UOR was better in second period 21-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Victoria-UOR 47-22 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Ukrainian center Alina Iordan (190-88) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 17 rebounds and international center Viktoriya Hasper (193-88) who added 19 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Tsmoki-Minsk's coach Nikolay Buzlyakov felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Maryia Rashchenia (185-92) responded with 12 points and 5 rebounds and Valiantsina Myshapud (182-94) scored 14 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Tsmoki-Minsk moved-up to third place, which they share with Berezina. Victoria-UOR at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. Tsmoki-Minsk will play against BrGU COR Victoria (#6) in Brest in the next round. Victoria-UOR will play at home against Sozh Gomel and hopes to get finally their first victory.
