Not a big story in a game when bottom-ranked Memorial (0-2) was outscored by top-ranked Huskies (2-0) in Halifax, NS 62-37 on Saturday. Huskies dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Memorial's 24. Huskies forced 19 Memorial turnovers. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Huskies made 8 blocks. International guard Justine Colley (175-91) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds. Angelina Carvery contributed with 9 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Forward Ally Forsey (191-90) replied with 10 points and 6 rebounds and guard Emily Jameson (178-91) added 6 points in the effort for Memorial.
