Rather expected game when 8th ranked Caja Rural (1-3) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Argon Uni Girona (2-1) 73-61. The game was mostly controlled by Argon Uni Girona. Caja Rural was better in second period 21-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Argon Uni Girona made 23-of-27 charity shots (85.2 percent) during the game. The winners were led by forward Anna Carbo (176-88, agency: Josep and Nicolas) who scored that evening 14 points and 7 rebounds and American power forward Jacinta Monroe (193-88, college: Florida St.) supported her with 12 points and 8 rebounds.
