LSBL top team - Eclex Tallinn (6-0) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed eleventh ranked Kolibri/U-16 (0-4) in Riga 86-52. The game without a history. Eclex Tallinn led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Kolibri/U-16 to just 7 points in fourth quarter. Eclex Tallinn dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Kolibri/U-16's 32. Eclex Tallinn forced 25 Kolibri/U-16 turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Estonian forward Viive Kai Rebane (182-89, college: Binghamton) who helped to win the game recording 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Estonian guard Mirjam Nikolai (177-86) contributed with 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Eclex Tallinn players scored in double figures. Forward Digna Strautmane (188-98) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds and guard Kristiana Rikveile (170-97) added 13 points in the effort for Kolibri/U-16. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Eclex Tallinn have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place with 6-0 record. Newly promoted Kolibri/U-16 still closes the standings with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
