Bottom-ranked Sutor Montegranaro managed to get a second victory, breaking the four-game losing streak on Sunday night. This time they won against twelfth-ranked Umana Venezia 89-83. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 27-17. But Umana Venezia won third quarter 21-10. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Sutor Montegranaro (2-4) moved-up to ninth place, which they share with 6 other teams including defeated Umana Venezia. Sutor Montegranaro will meet at home higher ranked Trenkwalder RE (#7) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Umana Venezia will play against Armani Milano and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
