Everything went according to plan when fifth ranked Fukuoka Rizing (5-3) beat at home 7th ranked Takamatsu FA (2-4) 80-67 on Sunday. Fukuoka Rizing dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Takamatsu FA's 44. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. Forward Reginald Warren (204-81, college: W.Florida, agency: Top Notch Sports) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and forward Josh Peppers (201-85, college: Cent.Florida, agency: Court Side) chipped in 21 points and 7 rebounds. Four Fukuoka Rizing players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was power forward Paul Williams (208-83, college: St.Bonaventure, agency: I.D.S. Law) with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds and swingman Dexter Lyons (198-81, college: Cent.Florida, agency: I.D.S. Law) scored 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Fukuoka Rizing. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Shinshu BW and Niigata Albirex. Takamatsu FA lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the seventh position with four games lost. Fukuoka Rizing will face Shiga L-Stars (#6) on the road in the next round. Takamatsu FA will play against Shimane Magic.
