Rather expected game when 5th ranked Bulleen Boomers (3-4) were crushed on the road by third ranked Adelaide Lightning (5-1) 74-55. The game was mostly controlled by Adelaide Lightning. Bulleen Boomers was better in fourth quarter 15-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Adelaide Lightning forced 22 Bulleen Boomers turnovers and outrebounded them 49-37 including 20 on the offensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. The former international center Suzy Batkovic-Brown (195-80) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 11 rebounds.
