The most surprising game was the first loss of undefeated Hod Hasharon (3-1) at the home court on Tuesday night. Hosts were defeated by ninth ranked Hapoel Afula (2-2) 81-75. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Hod Hasharon. The guests trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 6 points. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Allen Durham (198-88, college: Grace Bible) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists. The other American import guard Anthony Fisher (191-86, agency: Pro One Sports) contributed with 22 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Durham is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Nigerian power forward Chukwudinma Odiakosa (203-85, college: Illinois St., agency: N.E.T.) replied with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds and American guard B.A. Walker (188-84, college: VCU, agency: Pro One Sports) added 12 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists in the effort for Hod Hasharon. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Hod Hasharon's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Hapoel Afula moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Elitzur Ramla and Hapoel Kazrin. Hod Hasharon at the other side keeps the second position with one game lost.
