Important game to mention about took place in Beijing. Twelfth ranked Beijing Great Wall (1-3) saved a 1-point victory at home edging much higher ranked Zhejiang Far East (3-1) 83-82 on Tuesday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Zhejiang Far East. The hosts were ahead by 4 points but lost the second period ending it with a 2-point deficit before their 22-19 run, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of international forward Fan Zhang (188-84) who helped to win the game recording 25 points. point guard Honghua Zhou (174-84) contributed with 17 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Beijing Great Wall's coach Li Min Xu allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Australian center Elizabeth Cambage (203-91) replied with 38 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds and guard Binbin Shen (174-89) added 11 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Zhejiang Far East. Beijing Great Wall left bottom position moving up to eighth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Zhejiang Far East at the other side keeps the second position with one game lost. They share it with Shenyang and Henan. Beijing Great Wall will play against Heilongjiang Chenneng (#11) in Harbin in the next round. Zhejiang Far East will play at home against Bayi Kylin (#7) in Yinzhou and hopes to get back on the winning track.
