The game between third ranked Solna Vikings (4-3) and fifth ranked Mark Basket (4-2) was the most important one in the last round on Wednesday night. Solna Vikings were defeated by Mark Basket in a tough game in Solna 58-63. Solna Vikings trailed by 14 points after 3 quarters before a 18-9 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 58-63 at the end of the game. It was a great evening for American guard Ashley Key (177-85, college: N.Carolina St.) who led her team to a victory scoring 20 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Her fellow American import power forward Amber Petillon (193-82, college: Richmond) helped adding 9 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side American guard Eureka Brooks (170-86, college: Florida) responded with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international center Katarina Andersson (191-83) scored 12 points and 9 rebounds. Mark Basket moved-up to third place. Solna Vikings at the other side dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with Kvarnby. Mark Basket are looking forward to face Jarfalla (#11) in Stockholm in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Solna Vikings will play on the road against Sallen (#9) in Uppsala and are hoping to win this game.
