Bottom-ranked Tindastoll is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fifth consecutive match to eighth ranked Keflavik (3-3) 92-84 on Thursday evening. Tindastoll was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Keflavik forced 19 Tindastoll turnovers. American forward Michael Craion (195-89, college: ORU, agency: Ronsport) notched a double-double by scoring 21 points and 17 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international guard Darrel Lewis (192-76, college: Lincoln, MO, agency: Two Points) supported him with 22 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals. Keflavik's coach Sigurour Ingimundarson used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 16 points and 9 rebounds by American forward George Valentine (203, college: Winthrop) did not help to save the game for Tindastoll. His fellow American import guard Drew Gibson (188-85, college: Wofford) added 9 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Five Keflavik and four Tindastoll players scored in double figures. Keflavik have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Fjolnir. Loser Tindastoll still closes the standings with five games lost. Keflavik will meet at home higher ranked Skallagrimur (#5) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Tindastoll will play against the league's leader Snaefell (#1) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
