No shocking result in a game in Aix-les-Bains where fourth ranked Aix-Maurienne (6-2) smashed 9th ranked Saint Vallier (4-4) 86-66 on Friday. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 53-30 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Aix-Maurienne looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American Wilbert Brown (200-84, college: Niagara, agency: Z.A.G. - Law Offices) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds. point guard Simon Darnauzan (178-80) chipped in 10 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. Five Aix-Maurienne players scored in double figures.
