No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Napoli S.Dike (5-2) won against on the road 7th ranked Ancona (3-4) 63-57 on Saturday. Napoli S.Dike made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Ancona turnovers. It was a great evening for Australian-British forward Louella Tomlinson (193-88, college: St.Mary's, CA, agency: Regeneracom Sports) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds. Power forward Ntumba Madelene Mitongu (180-81) helped adding 10 points and 9 rebounds. Four Napoli S.Dike players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Francesca Redolf (182-86) responded with 18 points and 6 rebounds and forward Monique Ngo Ndjock (187-85) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds. Napoli S.Dike moved-up to fourth place in South. Loser Ancona keeps the seventh position with four games lost. Napoli S.Dike will have a break next round. Ancona will play against Salerno (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
