We should mention about the upset which took place in Stadrbredimus, where higher ranked Musel Pikes (4-4) lost at home to ninth ranked Basket Esch (2-6) 69-82. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Musel Pikes. Musel Pikes was ahead by 6 points at the halftime before a 46-27 second half run of Basket Esch. 24 personal fouls committed by Musel Pikes helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The winners were led by American forward Lawrence Wright (194-84, college: Bradley) who scored that evening 30 points and international Martin Rajniak (204-78, college: CSU Bakersfield) supported him with 19 points and 9 rebounds. Even 22 points by international point guard Laurent Schwartz (180-89) did not help to save the game for Musel Pikes. American power forward Brandon Gary (202-83, college: Hutchinson CC) added 14 points and 6 rebounds for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Basket Esch moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Soleuvre. Musel Pikes at the other side keeps the fourth position with four games lost.
