Important game to mention about took place in Kronos. Eighth ranked Kronos AD (3-3) saved a 2-point derby victory at home edging 6th ranked Terpsithea (3-3) 67-65 in the game for the fifth place. Kronos AD forced 19 Terpsithea turnovers. The former international power forward Nena Nikolaidou (190-79) notched a double-double by scoring 21 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and Anastasia Gotzi supported her with 11 points and 5 assists. Four Kronos AD players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 16 points and 12 rebounds by international forward Anna Spyridopoulou (184-88) did not help to save the game for Terpsithea. American guard Brittany Johnson (180-89, college: Ohio St.) added 22 points and 4 steals. Kronos AD moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Aris and Terpsithea. Kronos AD will play against league's leader AO Ellinikou in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Terpsithea will play against the league's second-placed Athinaikos (#2) in Athens and hopes to get back on the winning track.
