Very expected game in Vancouver, BC where 5th ranked Wolfpack (1-3) was rolled over by leader Thunderbirds (4-0) 97-63 on Saturday. Thunderbirds held Wolfpack to an opponent 24.1 percent shooting from the field compared to 47.8 percent accuracy of the winners and made 24-of-30 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Thunderbirds forced 21 Wolfpack turnovers. The best player for the winners was American guard Doug Plumb (193, college: Minnesota St.) who scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Geoff Pippus (196) chipped in 16 points. Four Thunderbirds players scored in double figures. Will Ondrik produced 9 points and 10 rebounds and Troy Grant added 14 points respectively for the guests.
