PLKK top team - Wisla Can-Pak (7-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eleventh ranked PTK Pabianice (0-7) in Krakow 82-44. The game without a history. Wisla Can-Pak led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding PTK Pabianice to just 7 points in second quarter. Wisla Can-Pak held PTK Pabianice to an opponent 23.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 46.0 percent accuracy of the winners. Wisla Can-Pak forced 21 PTK Pabianice turnovers. International swingman Katarzyna Krezel (184-85, college: UTEP) nailed 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and Belgian swingman Anke De Mondt (175-79) accounted for 13 points and 5 rebounds. Swingman Monika Jasnowska (182-92) came up with 18 points and forward Katarzyna Salska (186-84) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for PTK Pabianice in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Wisla Can-Pak. Defending champion maintains first place with 7-0 record. PTK Pabianice lost their seventh game in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with seven games lost.
