No shocking result in a game in Les Milles where sixth ranked Toulouse (5-3) defeated 10th ranked Aix-en-Provence (2-6) 66-54 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Toulouse. Aix-en-Provence managed to win third quarter 13-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian forward Adrijana Knezevic (185-87) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 7 rebounds and American forward Carrem Gay (188-87, college: Duke) who added 14 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Australian center Cayla Francis (192-89) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 16 rebounds and Australian center Marianna Tolo (196-89) scored 8 points and 7 rebounds. Toulouse have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Lyon and Mondeville. Aix-en-Provence lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with six games lost. They share it with Arras and Tarbes. Toulouse will meet at home Charleville-Mezieres (#9) in the next round. Aix-en-Provence will play against Union Hainaut in Saint-Amand and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
