No shocking result in a game when top-ranked Keflavik (8-0) defeated at home 5th ranked Haukar (2-6) 82-68 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Keflavik. Haukar was better in third quarter 22-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Haukar to just 6 points in first quarter. Keflavik forced 22 Haukar turnovers. The best player for the winners was guard Ingunn Kristinardottir (170-95) who scored 15 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Sara Run Hinriksdottir (165-96) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks. Five Keflavik players scored in double figures.
