Second-best Valmiera (5-2) fell to eleventh ranked U18 (1-4) in overtime by four points 80-84. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Valmiera. The hosts were already 12 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 28-16 Valmiera's run in the last quarter tied the game, leading to overtime which they eventually won 13-9. 24 personal fouls committed by Valmiera helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities.
