A very close game took place in Casalpusterlengo between Agrigento and Casalpusterlengo. Seventh ranked Agrigento (6-3) got a very close victory on the road over 12th ranked Casalpusterlengo (3-5). Agrigento managed to escape with a 2-point win 78-76 on Sunday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. The former international forward Michele Giovanatto (202-81) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. Agrigento's coach Franco Ciani used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Alberto Chiumenti (204-87, agency: Players Group) who recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and guard Roberto Prandin (188-86, agency: Two Points) added 20 points respectively. Agrigento moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Castelletto. Casalpusterlengo lost third consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with five games lost. They share it with Ferrara and Omegna. Agrigento will meet at home Mazzeo San Severo (#16) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Casalpusterlengo will play against Lucca (#8) and hope to secure a win.
