Date: November 11, 2012
There was a small surprise when ninth ranked Hapoel J-M (2-3) crushed 7th ranked Bnei Hasharon (2-3) in Hod Hasharon 94-68 on Sunday. The game without a history. Hapoel J-M forced 19 Bnei Hasharon turnovers and outrebounded them 45-28 including a 18-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Hapoel J-M looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American forward Craig Smith (201-83, college: Boston Coll.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds. Hapoel J-M will face higher ranked Hapoel Holon (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
