No shocking result in a game when second ranked Oita Heat Devils (8-2) beat at home 9th ranked Osaka Evessa (1-5) 85-77 on Sunday. Osaka Evessa trailed by 12 points at halftime and as many as 17 after three quarters before a 28-19 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 77-85 at the end of the game. Osaka Evessa was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Americans were the main players on the court. Guard Wendell White (198-84, college: UNLV, agency: Top Notch Sports) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 16 rebounds. Power forward Cyrus Tate (203-85, college: Iowa) contributed with 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Oita Heat Devils players scored in double figures. Center Darnell Cox (211-85, college: Miss.Valley St., agency: Court Side) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds and forward Nathan Walkup (200-88, college: Texas A&M, agency: SDJ Sports) added 20 points in the effort for Osaka Evessa.
