Regular Season Round 7: Brahe Basket - Malbas 74-80

The game between third ranked Brahe Basket (5-2) and sixth ranked Malbas (4-2) was the most important one in the last round on Sunday night. Brahe Basket was defeated by Malbas in a tough game in Huskvarna 74-80. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Brahe Basket. Brahe Basket was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Malbas made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Brahe Basket turnovers. 25 personal fouls committed by Brahe Basket helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Guard Kristoffer Gafor (194-92) fired 30 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Malbas are looking forward to face league's second-placed Haga Haninge at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Brahe Basket will play against Jarfalla and is hoping to win this game.
