No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Denso Iris (6-8) beat 11th ranked Ebara Vickies (3-11) in Kariya 64-58 on Sunday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Ebara Vickies were trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 22-13 charge of Denso Iris, which allowed them to win the game. The winners were led by international forward Arisa Fujiwara (175-87) who scored that evening 23 points and international guard Kumiko Oba (169-88) supported her with 23 points and 4 assists. Denso Iris' coach Hiroshi Kojima used a ten-player rotation saving starting five for next games. Even 10 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists by swingman Misako Rikuden (172-86) did not help to save the game for Ebara Vickies. Forward Kazumi Ogawa (178-86) added 8 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for lost side. Denso Iris maintains sixth position with 6-8 record, which they share with Niigata. Ebara Vickies lost tenth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keep the eleventh place with 11 games lost. Denso Iris will meet higher ranked Toyota A.
