The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Olympique Antibes as it allowed them to take a leadership position after previous leader's (Pau-Lacq-Orthez) loss. The best for the losing side was guard O'Darien Bassett (191-86, college: Troy) with 23 points and 7 assists and forward Wendell McKines (198-88, college: N.Mexico St.) scored 17 points and 8 rebounds. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Pau-Lacq-Orthez and Evreux. SPO Rouen at the other side dropped to the eleventh place with five games lost. They share the position with Nantes and Bourg. SPO Rouen will play next round against Fos Ouest trying to get back on the winning streak. Olympique Antibes will try to continue on its current victory against eighteenth ranked Bordeaux on the road.
