Regular Season Round 10: AZS Rzeszow - Widzew 74-63

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both ninth ranked AZS Rzeszow and 9th ranked Widzew had identical 1-6 record. This time AZS Rzeszow used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Lodz 74-63 on Wednesday night. The game was mostly controlled by AZS Rzeszow. Widzew managed to win third quarter 15-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. AZS Rzeszow forced 21 Widzew turnovers. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. AZS Rzeszow (2-6) moved-up to eighth place, which they share with BI SSA Gdynia. Loser Widzew dropped to the tenth position with seven games lost. AZS Rzeszow will meet higher ranked Wisla Can-Pak (#3) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
