Regular Season Round 6: Concordia - Laval 90-62

Date: November 15, 2012
An interesting game for Stingers (2-0) which hosted in Montreal, QC 4th ranked Rouge et Or (0-2). Top-ranked Stingers had an easy win 90-62. The game without a history. Stingers led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Ivorian forward Kafil Eyitayo (201) notched a double-double by scoring 16 points and 15 rebounds to lead the effort and forward Evens Laroche (193) supported him with 13 points and 9 rebounds. Five Stingers players scored in double figures. Even 23 points by Karl Demers-Belanger did not help to save the game for Rouge et Or. Naturalized Bosnian forward Boris Hadzimuratovic (204-91, college: High School) added 11 points and 11 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Stingers maintains first position with 2-0 record, which they share with 5 other teams. Loser Rouge et Or still closes the standings with two games lost. They share the position with 4 other teams. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
