Important game to mention about took place in Sunchales. Third ranked Libertad Sunchales (11-5) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 7th ranked GECR Indalo (8-8) 67-66 on Friday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of GECR Indalo. It looked good early as GECR Indalo took an 9-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Libertad Sunchales had a 24-12 second period charge getting the lead and GECR Indalo was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 66-67. It was an exceptional evening for the former international forward Gabriel Mikulas (200-80, college: E.Carolina, agency: Interperformances) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds. American swingman William Graves (198-88, college: N.Carolina) accounted for 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. American guard David Jackson (196-82, college: Penn St.) came up with 18 points and 6 assists and the other American import forward Jason Robinson (196-80, college: Pikeville) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for GECR Indalo in the defeat. Despite that victory Libertad Sunchales went down to fourth position due to points difference. GECR Indalo at the other side keeps the seventh place with eight games lost. They share the position with Quimsa. Libertad Sunchales will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. GECR Indalo will play on the road against Quimsa (#8) in Santiado Estero and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
