There was no surprise when 10th ranked Eco Orebro (3-8) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Norrkoping Dolphins (7-4) 82-65 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Norrkoping Dolphins. Eco Orebro managed to win third quarter 24-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Norrkoping Dolphins dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Eco Orebro's 34 and made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for American-British forward Oladapo Ayuba (198-86, college: UMKC) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points and 6 rebounds. Icelandic guard Pavel Ermolinskij (202-87, agency: I.D.S. Law) helped adding 10 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. Four Norrkoping Dolphins players scored in double figures. Norrkoping Dolphins' coach Paul Burke used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. American-Bosnian point guard Terell Castle (182-72, college: Nicholls St., agency: Court Side) responded with 20 points, 6 assists and 4 steals and Croatian forward Fran Urli (203-89, college: Hawaii-Pacific, agency: Dynamics Global Management) scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Norrkoping Dolphins. Defending champion maintains fifth place with 7-4 record. Loser Eco Orebro dropped to the ninth position with eight games lost. They share it with Jamtland and Eagles. Norrkoping Dolphins will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Eco Orebro will play against White Eagles (#9) in Stockholm and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
