Regular Season Round 6: Rockwool Pula - Agram ZG 83-64

Bottom-ranked ZKK Agram (0-6) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 83-64 loss to tenth ranked Rockwool Pula (2-4) in Pula. The game was mostly controlled by Rockwool Pula. ZKK Agram was better in fourth quarter 25-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding ZKK Agram to just 3 points in second quarter. It was a good game for guard Ivana Dukic (172-92) who led her team to a victory with 20 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals. American guard Chelsea Pickering (175-89, college: Idaho St.) contributed with 18 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Rockwool Pula's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Iva Meznaric (186-86) replied with 27 points and 7 rebounds and center Mia Mlinar (190-89) added 11 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for ZKK Agram. Rockwool Pula moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 4 other teams. ZKK Agram at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost. Rockwool Pula will play against league's leader Jolly in Sibenik in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. ZKK Agram will play at home against Pleter (#9) in Pleternica and hopes to get finally their first victory.
