Undefeated leader AO Ellinikou delivered the seventh consecutive win on Saturday night. This time they crushed 5th ranked Kronos AD (3-4) 64-43. The game without a history. AO Ellinikou led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. AO Ellinikou forced 22 Kronos AD turnovers. American forward Breanna Brock (187-90, college: Missouri) fired a double-double by scoring 22 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. The former international forward Evina Stamati (180-84) chipped in 15 points and 5 steals. AO Ellinikou's coach Eleni Kapogianni felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international power forward Nena Nikolaidou (190-79) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 16 rebounds and American guard Jasmine Smith (172, college: St.Mary's, CA) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. AO Ellinikou (7-0) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Newly promoted AO Ellinikou maintains first place with a perfect record of 7 victories in a row, which they share with Athinaikos. Kronos AD at the other side dropped to the sixth position with four games lost. They share it with Ikaros Kalitheas and Terpsithea. AO Ellinikou is looking forward to face league's second-placed Athinaikos in Athens in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Kronos AD will play at home against Aris (#5) in Thessaloniki and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
